I love capturing relationships on camera. One of the main reasons I fell in love with photography is that you can remember times and events and relationships just from a single photograph. Even when your mom is gone, or grandfather has passed, or sibling is not here anymore, you still have those priceless memories with them. Photographs are tangible things that help you remember the past. Yes, there is an investment, but it is so very worth it.

FAQ
What is your style of photography?
I believe photographs can elicit emotions from people when they look back and remember their wedding day with their new bride or groom, or during years with small kiddos when life is crazy yet simple, or when a loved one is gone, but they still have this special image of them. I want to capture unposed, raw, candid photos of you and your loved ones that you can keep forever. Yes, we will take a few of those clean, posed pictures that Grandma wants, but I like to try to get as many real images as possible too.
I am also a natural light photographer and the "golden hour" (about an hour before sunset) is my absolute fave. Lighting can make be a game changer and I love using it to evoke more emotions from images.
When will we get our photos?
For weddings, you will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 4-6 weeks. With other portrait sessions, you will receive your online gallery within 2 weeks. You will get a print release that allows you to download all the photos from the gallery, share them, and choose your favorites. Then you can choose to print any of your favorite images!
Where should I print my photos?
For best quality, you can purchase prints online, through your photo gallery. If you want to download and print them on your own, I recommend Mpix or WHCC (White House Custom Color). I do not recommend Walmart, Walgreens, Shutterfly, etc. as I cannot guarantee the quality. Do not download photos on your phone to order prints. Download high resolution photos on a computer. Please contact me if you have questions so we can get the best quality photos on your walls in your home!
How do you photograph weddings?
Even before your big day, we will be in contact, discussing small and big details of the day! I will send you a questionnaire that will help me be prepared and organize your day better. On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings and emotions, the big and small moments, and all the details that make your wedding unique. I want to be able to preserve one of the best days of your life!
How many pictures will we receive?
For an 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
For other portrait sessions it depends, and we can discuss details when we start communicating!
Do you offer any discounts?
I value and recognize the sacrifice and selflessness that our military and first responders (Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement) give. I offer a 10% session fee discount to any active duty personnel. So if you need some updated photos of your family or just you and your significant other, let me know! I would love to give you photos that last a lifetime!

Do you travel?
I am based in central Kansas but am willing to travel, depending on availability! Contact me and we can hammer out the details and travel fee.
Can you make me look skinnier?
I tell my clients I don't do any excessive editing. Anything that is permanent (moles, scars, birthmarks, etc.) is not edited out. I can lightly edit some flaws (ex: light acne). If it is more extensive and time consuming (ex: sunburn in every photo) I charge extra. The bottom line is I don't spend hours in photoshop editing your body and liquifying people to change how they look. I want you to love yourself and see you for how your loved ones see you!
